Editing with AI
Describe what you want like you would to a designer. Here's how to get the best results.
Tips for great results
- Be specific about where. "In the hero at the top of the home page, change the headline to…" works better than "change the headline."
- Give the real details. Phone numbers, hours, prices and addresses. The AI never invents facts about your business, so it uses obvious placeholders until you provide them.
- One idea at a time. Small, focused requests are easier to review and undo.
- Describe the feeling. "Warmer and more rustic" or "clean and corporate" are great starting points for a redesign.
Photos and files
Upload photos with the Upload button or drag them into the chat, then ask: "Use the photo storefront.jpg as the background of the top section." The AI can't download images from the internet, so upload the ones you want to use.
What the AI can't do
Stylvia hosts fast static websites, so the AI can't add server software like a database, login system or PHP. For contact forms, bookings or payments, it can embed widgets from services you use (Calendly, Square, Google Forms and others) or add email and phone links.
Choosing a model
You can switch between leading US AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Google in the chat panel. The default is a strong all-rounder. Faster models are great for quick text changes.
Undo and review
Every AI reply is one step in your history. Click Undo to reverse it, or restore a snapshot to go back further. Nothing goes live until you publish.
